The Veranda restaurant has been one of Bar Harbor's few ocean front dining locations for over thirty years. Visit us for dinner or a cocktail on the deck. We feature live music in the piano lounge on a weekly basis, check out the link below for a schedule of artists.

What We Do...
It has always been our goal to create the unexpected from traditional, to create more than a just a dinner... Below are some behind the scenes pictures from our beautiful kitchen. If you would like the 'full experience' you may book a chef's table July-September.
We are proud to serve ingredients endemic to New England and the North Atlantic region. We love the rare, beautiful and unique foods of the area and work hard to bring those to you.

Welcome
Back for another spring on incredible Mount Desert Island. Those of us who've "overwintered" are shaking out our carpets, and transplanting seedlings after the first frost. Others who have gone to warmer climates are migrating back to town - and its getting busy, and bustling!
We cant wait to see you for another amazing summer.

The Veranda Bar
Enjoy a cocktail and snack outdoors around the fireplace or in our piano lounge. We offer a seasonal cocktail menu as well as an extensive liquor selection, local beers, and special glass pours off of the coravin.

Come join us for an evening of handcrafted cocktails, great food, and live music.
